We offer group puppy classes designed to incorporate proper socialization with a unique set of obedience skills to create a one-of-a-kind patio pup experience. Our Patio Pups FUN-dations courses and subsequent classes are designed with socialization in mind. We take class to the places you need it the most! Setting up in public pet-friendly locations allows us to build necessary skills for real life adventures with you little one.

ADVENTURE dog club

I.T.D.T. and Cooperative Canine Concepts have teamed up to offer a one-of-a-kind group training experience. We now offer group adult dog courses designed to encourage versatility, confidence building and stability while incorporating a unique set of obedience skills. Our ADVENTURE dog club and subsequent courses are designed with you in mind. We take class to the places you need it the most! Frequenting different pet-friendly locations such as; retail stores, breweries, coffee shops, parks and hiking trails across the QCA allows us to build necessary skills for real life adventures with your real-life ADVENTURE dog!

Canine Coaching

Canine Coaching sessions are private sessions suitable for dogs focusing on basic to advanced obedience, potential service dog candidates (working towards public access & task training) advanced tricks, patio pup skills, assistance with nose work, Cooperative Care, maintaining husbandry skills etc.

Canine Coaching sessions are not suitable for dogs exhibiting fear, anxiety, aggression, or reactivity - please see "Behavior Modification" for further assistance in these areas.

Drop-in sessions are structured as informal lessons, providing personalized attention to each participant within the group. These sessions can supplement your course for additional support or serve as standalone options for those seeking a more budget-friendly approach while progressing at their own pace. Please note that Pro Pup sessions are not appropriate for dogs displaying fear, anxiety, aggression, or reactivity. help with these issues, please refer to our "Behavior Modification" program.

Intake Assessment

Must be completed prior to behavior modification

Suitable for dogs exhibiting compulsive, fearful, anxious or aggressive behaviors.

​

Behavior modification requires an intimate understanding of your dog's individual history in order to identify the cause of their behavior. The goal of this initial assessment is to offer us insight into your dog's behavior, health, and overall environment/lifestyle. First, you'll fill out a detailed form, one of our Certified/Accredited Trainers or affiliates will evaluate your assessment, provide you with feedback, write up a formal evaluation to be forwarded on to your veterinarian, and collaborate with your Vet during the behavior modification process when needed. Your assessment will provide us with a detailed history ensuring the health, and safety of your pet while determining the best training/modification plans in order to begin assisting you in reaching your training goals.

Behavior Modification

Sessions to be completed one on one, in person or remotely

Must have completed intake assessment prior to behavior modification

Suitable for dogs exhibiting compulsive, fearful, anxious or aggressive behaviors.​

You may only participate in behavior modification courses AFTER completing our intake assessment. Behavior consults require an intimate understanding of your dog's individual history. The goal of this initial assessment will be to offer insight into your dog's behavior, health, and overall environment/lifestyle. First you'll fill out your intake form, providing us with a detailed history is required in order to ensure the health and safety of your pet while determining the best training/modification plans in order to begin assisting you in reaching your training goals.

We're here to help you learn to better understand and interpret your pet's behaviors, and to shift your focus on what drives them. We will build personalized plans to fit your pet’s needs while providing you with step by step guidance in order to help you achieve your training goals with ease and efficiency. With clear, precise, training plans, compassion, consistency, kindness and an abundance of choice we can begin to effectively modify your dog's behavior, ultimately strengthening your relationship in the process.

Behavioral Foundations Course

Sessions to be completed in a group setting via ZOOM in order to prepare you for in-person sessions

Suitable for dogs exhibiting compulsive, fearful, anxious or aggressive behaviors.​

​

Not all dogs are ready to begin in-person behavior modification sessions safely without a few pre-requisites in tow. BFC courses are 6-week courses focusing on the following skill acquisition.

  • How to develop management strategies

  • Our methodology

  • How to read our dog's body language (including subtle cues)

  • Clean mechanics

  • Operant Conditioning vs. Classical Conditioning and how they apply to training

  • The Operant quadrants that are most conducive to behavior modification and why

  • Debunking common dog training myths

  • Conditioning for a basket muzzle

  • A stationing behavior

  • Sit - Down - Stay

  • Chin Rest

  • Touch target

  • Arousal mobility.
